Dr. Nicole Dingwell-Frendt is a licensed clinical social worker, certified addictions counselor, and trauma specialist with expertise in betrayal trauma, abuse, PTSD, and trauma resolution.
Her therapeutic approach integrates EMDR and Somatic Experiencing to support healing and resilience. She also incorporates Polyvagal Yoga and shame resilience work to offer clients a comprehensive, body-based path to recovery.

As a certified RYT500 Yoga Teacher specializing in Polyvagal Yoga and somatic practices, Dr. Dingwell-Frendt believes in treating the mind, body, and spirit to achieve balance and maximize potential, which is essential for recovery.

Dr. Frendt earned her Doctor of Health Administration from Central Michigan University. Her dissertation examined the construct validity of county-level social capital indices and their relationship to population health outcomes. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in International Health Systems from Central Michigan University.
She currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at Touro University Graduate School of Social Work, MSW Global Online Program, and as Communications Director for the CMU DHA Alumni Association.

Dr. Frendt supervises MSW interns from Michigan and New York Universities, social workers with a Limited License (LLMSW), and CAADC & CADC candidates. She offers both individual and group supervision, with rates of $150 per hour for individual and $70 for a 2-hour group session.
​
She is available to clinicians for case consultations with fully licensed, limited-licensed, and intern therapists.
